Hoad Medical Practice is an established small practice and is part of Morecambe Bay ICB.
We have a professional and dedicated management team as well as an excellent reception, admin and nursing team. They are always on hand to help our patients and provide them with the necessary information about the services we offer.
For further information please follow the new patient tab at the top of this page.
We have a well established Patient Participation Group (PPG) who meet regularly to discuss current issues, suggest improvements and pass on feedback and comments about the services the Practice provides.
We want our patients to be able to help us plan our services and for them to be involved in their own healthcare.
There will be various Practice staff in attendance at the PPG Meetings, usually a GP and a member of the admin team. Meetings will have a planned agenda and will be kept short and concise. We aim to plan them around the most convenient times for our patient representatives.
We want to involve patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample; we need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups. If you would like to have the opportunity to have your say and be involved in the future plans for the surgery then please come along to our next meeting.
If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.

The meetings will always be held at the surgery but we will alternate the days and times to allow as many people to attend as possible. It may be possible to join us via Teams.
We will aim to have a manager and a GP representative attend the meetings so please come along to meet the team and help us to shape our service for the future.
The group, GP Survival, have created a number of patient leaflets to explain the pressures currently facing General Practice in the NHS. If you would like to read these please go to http://generalpracticesurvival.com/information-for-patients/.
